RESEARCH PRODUCTS, REVIEW
Now I'm going to briefly detail how to determine the best-buy
digital cameras available now, that best meets your needs and
your budget...
Ready?
Let's begin with a question:
HOW CAN YOU BUY a good, even great, digital camera?
It's time to do some research.
=> READ A MAGAZINE
Despite the marvelous search engine that is Google, I firmly believe
that initial research begins in the magazines that you can buy at
the newsagents.
So visit WHSmith (UK) and try and head for the digital cameras
section.
I found Which Camera? and What Digital Camera? - both of which
had an extensive buying guide, with pages and pages of product reviews.
(I thought that Which Camera? was the best magazine, but that's
just my opinion, however What Digital Camera? has an extensive glossary
of digital-camera-related terms.)
Then read the magazines, especially the buying-guide sections -
buy them if you can - and look for digital cameras recommended in
ALL of the magazines that you find. (You want to be sure, after
all!)
Hopefully, you'll reduce the massive list of available digital
cameras to a shorter one.
=> READ THE ONLINE REVIEWS
*I* wanted to be doubly sure, before I spent a lot of money, on
a digital camera. So that's why I then went online to see what Amazon
and Internet Cameras Direct customers thought of my short-list of
digital cameras.
I also checked out the consumer-opinion websites like CIAO and
DooYoo, to confirm that my chosen cameras were well-regarded.
But above all I went to a couple of outstanding online review websites
(see below).
And in the end, the product detail, and extensive collection of
digital camera reviews actually persuaded me to choose a different
digital camera from my short-list.
~~~~~
So, short and sweet - do some research using RESOURCES that
ALWAYS STAY UP-TO-DATE (I hope! ;-) )
Namely, visit these DIGITAL CAMERA REVIEWS websites
Okay?
